×Steve Robinson Former Chief Marketing Officer, Chick-Fil-A
Steve Robinson is the former EVP and CMO of Chick-Fil-A ,Inc. Steve still serves as counsel for leadership development and community involvement on behalf of Chick-Fil-A. Prior to joining Chick-Fil-A, Steve was the director of marketing at Six Flags over Georgia, preceded by three other assignments with Six Flags, Inc.
Steve started his career as a marketing communications manager with Texas instruments in Dallas, TX.After beginning his Chick-Fil-A career as director of marketing, Steve went on to serve as Vice President and SVP, of the department before becoming Chief Marketing Officer. in his most recent role, he was responsible for overseeing all traditional marketing support, advertising, brand development innovation, menu innovation and hospitality strategies. he also served on the executive committee leadership team for the business for over 30 years. in that role, he helped lead the strategic planning process for the company.
In addition to serving on Chick-Fil-A’s board of directors since 2016, he also serves on several other boards: Family Life, A Ministry of Cru; Fellowship of Christian Athletes of Atlanta; Links Players International; Atlanta Hall Management and College Football Hall of Fame; the National Football Foundation; and the Advisory Counsel for Auburn University’s Harbert’s College of Business.
He holds an associate degree in business administration from Faulkner State Jr. College, a BS in Marketing from Auburn University, and a Masters in Advertising, from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
Steve and his wife, Dianne, have two children and four grandchildren.
